Sliding drawer box template
An open drawer and the sleeve it slides into, like a matchbox, drawn with a little room all round.
How to make it
Print at 100% (Actual size), not Fit to page.
Cut the solid lines and crease the dashed ones against a ruler.
Fold the drawer into a tray, glue the sleeve into a tube, then slide the drawer in.
Good to know
- The sleeve is the drawer's outside plus 0.8 mm a side.
- The sleeve is as long as the drawer, so its ends sit flush.
- The sleeve's seam lies underneath, keeping the top whole for a label.
